Hey everyone! I am in a band and at the moment I am bored to death with all this easy music. I am only in 8th grade but pretty good for me...anywayz if anyone has any good music or any sites that have free music sheets for an alto sax pleez let me know...I also play bari but can`t hit the low notes very well so music that has higher notes for baritone sax is also wanted. Thanx for all the help!

Get a Jamey Abersold....Those have Eb solos that will allow you to make your own music.

Oh my God, I`m in grade 8.. I get 100% in music all we play is this easy stuff like FanFare and GreenBriar March, It`s boring, so I`ve been looking for free sheet music online for like ever! I can`t find anything, sorry guys.. But if you find any please Email me!
I need a challenge! And our music teacher braught out this excellent Jazz music Sooo hard! but awesome! And I`m getting the hang of it, deffinitly want to have music in my future!

Nyroxia is right....definitely try Aebersolds...and learn your blues scales...they go:

1st
flat 3rd
4th
sharp 4th
5th
flat 7th

Ex: C Blues would be: C Eb f F#(Gb) G Bb (C)

Just try fooling around with that scale, and it`ll help out a lot.

I already know all my scales.. Heh..

i have the same problem! only i`m in 7th. we r playing carmen overture right now...the bari part is sooooo easy and the alto part is simple after u practice once. plz email me if u find any good music that doesnt drone on!

Is everyone in here in 8th grade? I am too. Were playing a grade 4 piece now and it goes on and on. We have the theme song for harry Potter and i love it!

I know its stupid to write back to your own message but I am doing it so oh well. Thanks everyone for the reply. We have the Harry Potter music too! Everything is really boring though cuz its too easy. The songs we have are: Genesis, Symphonic Chorale, Minuteman, Valley Forge (our march), Linus and Lucy, Harry Potter both parts, Caravan, and about 6 others. I am also in Chorus so if you know of any good songs to sing: let me know. In that we sing, The Newsies(Carrying the Banner, Santa Fe, and King of New York), God Bless America, and a few more. I`m in 8th grade too lol. We get cool music like James Bond and Mission Impossible but its kinda easy. I hate it and spend hours trying to get cool music. This is the best site I`ve found so I guess its just best to go ahead and buy some good music. Good luck and if anyone finds some breakthroughs in the free music industry POST IT!!!

GOD! Im a 6th grade sax player and i want Louie Louie gosh darn it!
I play Tenor in normal band and i play alto in concert band. but i wanna play louie louie!!!!!!!!! regular band got more interesting after playin tenor. im startin to get the hang of it but i want cool music to play on alto since i can play it easily. someone help me!!!
