Im all for experimenting and trying new things but green and red saxophones? I guess i wouldn`t mind if it had good intonation, a nice sound, and actually had some purpose, but i feel that if they need to change the color to attract buyers, there must be something wrong with the other aspects. If anyone out there agrees or disagrees let me know.

Saxaphoneeeeeeee does say it right.LA Sax does make a quality colored sax that is not too expensive. I think they have quite of few colors available. but,I also heard that if you want a certain color just send them a sample and they can match it. email or call them for the details.

I recken a coloured sax would be completly AWESEOME! In my music class we were actually discussing this and my fellow saxaphonists were saying exactly the same thing, it would be fantastic. But as said previously, they are just novelty and are priced much lower then say, a $3000 Selmer series 3 sax. But it also depends on the player. A really experienced player could get the sax to a beautiful pitch and solve intonation problems and could consider buying a coloured sax while a beginner would certaintly not consider.
