There is no way you can be very good after 4 months of playing, do you play 15 hours a day and then lessons for the last 9 hours? i bet you`re good for your age group and experience, but not at the level most people put as "good" do you know how to improvise?

i have too admit that I suck at improve,but I`m pretty good at written solos.I play clarinet too,what kind of age group do you mene.I`m no expert but I`m not a biginer.

MY opinion is that any reed thats not vandoren is worth bying, i am 13 but i`m bout grade 4 which i think is intermediate.

I read a few complaints about ligatures if your having trouble with your ligature I would suggest that you try using a BG tradition or jazz ligature for whichever style you play. It`s a great ligature and I wouldn`t try a non-metal ligature they don`t give you nearly as good of a sound as the metal ones do
