............ i guess this question is a bit stupid... but will the strap ring be able to actually stand the weight of the saxophone without falling off? i mean the RING not the strap itself..

anyone`s strap ring broke or snapped off before?

Although I am not a good player I do know engineering and the likelyhood of the ring breaking in normal circumstances is very remote. My strap has a plastic fastener and that seems strong enough, so I`m pretty sure that the brass ring will be fine.

don`t worry. mine has never broken before, those things are pretty heavy duty. but if ur still worried, try supergluing your fingers to the sax.....jk!
