Hey guys, i`d appreciate if you`d help me out.
I`m a 15 year old musician in Rhode Island. My band consists of acoustic guitar, electric guitar, piano, saxophone (alto), drumset, and upright bass.
However most of our practices are built around my saxophonist because he isn`t the best, he has a very hard time writing to our music. However, he is one of my best friends and the band would be different without him so i was wondering if you guys could help me...
I need to know either (a) all the notes on the guitar (key of C) to this alto sax (key of Eb) or (b) can somebody tell me how i can convert it???
Thanks,
Dave

You mean transposing?
Well, for Eb (alto and bari), its three half steps DOWN. ex: Bb on guitar = G on Alto\bari
For Bb (tenor and soprano) Its one whole step UP. Ex: guitar Bb = Tenor/Soprano C
Hope it helps
