Too small and almost a crabby tone.

I switched from alto to tenor and i love it, but soprano sax is awesome, it just always has a real jazz sound, awesome for solos. I want to get one for my b day too. You have a tough choice, but no one really plays soprano.

My friend has a saprano but she only played it once for the solo to `Forever in Love` by Kenny G!!!!!

hay, sorry i havent been on in a wile. but go 4 it!!!! tenor is awsome! personally, i love the way it sounds. it has a really awsome jazz quality 2 it that i like. but go 4 wat u feel is best. i hav seen & heard the suprano sax and it is awsome 2. iv never really tried it b 4, but im lookin 4 ward 2 it soon. id like 2 play it wen i get older. hay jessica, so i dont hav 2 go on the enternet all the time..... do u hav an e-mail address i can reach u at?¿ tanks! oh by the way. barrie is cool, but its low notes r just a lil 2 much. if u feel that instrument is right 4 ya, then go 4 it. but since ur friend already plays tenor & bari, if i wer u i wood go 4 the suprano. its diffrent. dont go by wat ur band director says, go by wat u wanna do. cause 4 me, if i went with wat my band director says, i wood b stuck playin the flute. AAAHHHH! plus, the bari sax is way to much instrument. talk about hugh! hope that helps. ATERLAY!

I would get a saprano but I want to get a sax I can play in band because saprano is more of a solo intrument.I`m going to get a E-mail but I havent had time to becuse are skools band compotitsion is coming up soon and I hardly have time for anything but practicing. Me and my sister both play different intruments, she plays bass and guitar and I play sax,piano,clarinet,flute and trumpet but i`m only a beginner for trumpet and flute.Do you have any sisters or brothers.

tenor rules... lol i played alto for 2 years ans loved it but them my band got my a Selmer Super Actiopn 80 Series II the BEST sax that you can possibly buy, there are pros that would dream to have this sax... its amazing... PLAY TENOR!

What *exactly* is the difference of the tones/scales between tenor and alto? I play alto cuz it`s what the school uses to tech dudes ^_^
