hey just wondering can anyone explain how u do a growl on the saxophone?? thanks for ur help x

It`s hard to explain in words, but i`ll try. First, what I do is "purr" (not on the sax) You do it wit your throat, and it makes a purr\growl sound. If your a guy, don`t purr around your friends(lol) But basicly, you just purr into your sax whe you play. It`s kindof like how you can hum into a tuba, but you purr instead of huming. Help any?

No, I just use my throat, except for when I tounge while I growl.
