I`ve been doing the "when you breathe in, your lungs fill up from the bottom and when you breathe out it releases from the top of your lungs"
is this the right way or is there a different technique that you guys do?
thanx for your help- scarlett

Well,Scarlett.
I dont think I`m using my lung to push the airflow thru the horn. On the first class i got, my teacher told me to breathe by your "lower abdomen". When trying to take in air,the abdomen expands while the chest almost stays flat.
Any remark is appriciate~

Breathing is controlled by your diaphragm muscle. When breathing correctly you "guts" from the bottom of your ribcage down should expand out while breathing in and shrink inwards as you breath out. Just before going to sleep, while you are relaxed, lie on your back and you will see that this is how you naturally breath. The upper part of your chest should move minimally when breathing correctly.
