Check the topic on the tenor sax. But, i`ve heard good things about them, though my top three favorite are Selmer, Yamaha, and kielwoth. I used to play a bundy, and have played with a bundyII, and they`re actually not that bad if your good.

I have a T901 (T-Tenor) which is an entry level professional, I really love the sound of it, and the feel of it. Its a very comfortable playing sax. For the price you really cannot beat it for quality. I have also been trying out the A991 (Alto) and I thought it sounded better than the Yamaha I tried out.

I`ve owned the A-991 alto sax for almost two years. I`ve been continually impressed by the sound quality that it is able to produce. Very easy to play on with great features. Truly a high quality saxophone.

I have a T990 tenor, beautiful instrument and very easy to play, many say as good if not better than the mk 6. You will not be disappointed.

as a start I`ve played a Century alt sax, which is not that bad...compared to a bundy, I think it`s crap, but not that bad if your good. the difference between a bundy and a selmer is SO amazing it`s unbelivable actually, I don`t even know from where to start, the sound quality it can produce, the keyboard etc.

after 3 years with the century, I switched to a Selmer Paris Super Action 80 serie II which is a pretty good instrument. only be advised, take a really good care of him (yep, him...it`s a person for me :P), my selmer is a second hand sax, and his first owner really neglected him, he wasnt treated the way a Selmer should, and now all the plating is off oh well.

Yanagisawas are fantastic! Ive played on my yani alto for 5 years, and i havent played anything i liked better since. They tune very well, respond very well and have fantastic distincion in sound. TRY ONE OUT BEFORE YOU BUY IT!! you may not like it, its my preferance! I have the soprano and alto, and now looking into a tenor. goodluck man.

I puchased the Yanagisawa S992 (bronze straight soprano) about a month ago. It is a superior instrument with a beautiful sound.
