I have a Selmer Super blah blah II. It`s a really good one cuz i tried it along side 2 other series II`s and i switched all their necks around till i found the best combo. I also played the yani`s the yamaha custom, a new keilworth, an old keilworth w/rounded key holes(SAWEET), cannonball, series III(which i didnt like as much as the II), the reference, and a couple crap saxes. I personally need a nice sax to sound good. Its my crutch but i know a kid who has a yamaha student that could outplay most people on this forum....
I have a question though...How are you able to just play soprano at school(assuming that the soprano player is in school)? Usually soprano is just a double.

Yanagisawa not a decent saxophone?
Ask Antonio Hart,Vincent Herring,or Peter King(He plays with Charlie Watts in case you haven`t heard about him)
You should give them a try. They have the best mecanisms in the world.

For the last 25 years Ive been playing a 1953 Selmer super balanced action with a 7*Otto Link Tonemaster metal mouthpiece and the real issue is .....are you playing your soul!!or are you concerned with product!
