Go to flea markets, antique stores, junk shops, etc.

Most of these sell old sheet music, and if you`re lucky (like I`ve been) even old music textbooks.

They are usually cheap (except for the really collectable ones) and you can read through them to see if you`re to that level of play yet.

I`m assuming since you`re still learning basic notes that baroque or other complex classical pieces are out of the question but that`s ok -- there are plenty of great folks, gospel and traditional songs on sheet music.
