Hey everybody i just sent one up there about 30 minutes ago... Please dont spoil this for me and say recorders not an instrument. Even though its for practicing, ill just have to admit agains my will that it is kind of... you know, overshadowed by stuff like sax and xylo and piano, and sometimes a triangle! Maybe not, but dont spoil this for me and tell me 2 ask my mom because thats mean and she doesnt really know and dont say its not an instrument cuz it 1 of the 2 i know hot 2 play... IM SORTA ASHAMED OF ONLY BEING ABLE TO PLAY 2

Don't be ashamed of playing recorder. I still play recorder, and I'm almost 20!

Before I help answer your questions, I need to know if it's a soprano or alto recorder, or some other kind. Reply back and I'll tell you.

If you're not sure, you can check on a piano. Play the bottom note (123, 1234) and match the pitch to the piano. It should be either a C or an F.

I agree, don't be ashamed of playing the recorder. I'm 13 and I still play! It'll help you play othe insturments better! check out this website: www.mymusicclass.com
They have a lot of songs for the recorder, and also you can play the song on the computer and hear what it's supposed to sound like. You can also print fingering charts etc.
