Hello My name is John. Im in 5th grade. And i had the recorder for a few months. But i still dont know how to use C or F. Please help.

Wait. i dont know hot to do C and D and F and # and how do we do a High and LOW note. i've seen millons of websites about it and i still dont understand. Please tell me Very simple. Make a link of a picture or something. Please help me.

So, what exactly don't you get?

There are two keys for recorders, C and F. The key depends on which one you're on. For the soprano (which nearly everyone starts on, and is in C), an F would be 1,2,3 and 1. F# would be 1,2,3 and 2.

To play an octave higher, move your thumb a little bit so that some of the hole is open.

by the way simpsonsaxgirl F on soprano is not 123 and 1, its the thumb 1,2,3 and 1,3,4

Each recorder is different, Princess, and some require more fingers to be put down to be in tune. On most sopranos, 123 1 plays an F. The extra 3 4 lower the pitch.
