I want to buy an alto recorder for less than $100. I know nothing about which is the best brand. Please help.

I was considering the Aulos Haka. Either that or a Yamaha 312B.

I would suggest an Alto recorder made by yamaha. I have a tenor recorder that was mede by yamaha, and it has a beautiful tone. My sister has an alto by yamaha and likes it's tone too.
