My daughter will be sitting her grade 2 recorder exam soon and needs to practice the oral part of the test. Her teacher says you can get practice cds but I'm wondering if anyone knows where there are free downloads or sites that would help with this rather than me spending more money.

Would be lovely if someone could help
Thanks

I know my answer is overdue, but just saw you post...
The perfect tool for your daughter is the Recorder-Master game of JoyTunes, found at:

www.joytunes.com/play?tok=8notes

It is a cool (FREE) interactive computer game that is operated by - - live playing of the recorder. While you're having fun playing, you learn how to play, practice notes and technique (which otherwise are boring to practice), and play real music.
I know kids that started to practice at home for hours with this game, so - you are welcomed to try. Let me know how it worked for you...
