I don`t play the recorder but I do know where the notes are on one. A player should be able to play it starting on a G note.

Ben gave you the first phrase in his reply, which goes down to an F#, however I think the 2nd phrase modulates down a semitone, right? That would make the lowest note an F (unless it goes even lower than that later on). So if you want to be able to play along with the TV your best bet is probably an Alto or Sopranino recorder, which would sound pretty wicked.

If you just want to be able to play it unaccompanied on a Soprano recorder then Raff has the right idea. Start on G and the lowest note will be a C. Trying to play along with the TV in this case would NOT be cool.

I play the paino, tener sax, trombone, euphonum, baritone, tuba and recorder. I want to know how to play the theme song for the simpons on any one of those.

Write the above notes on a stave then find them on each instrument. The pitch will be different but the tune will be right.
