Hey, when I reach the higher notes, when it requires you to half-way cover the thumb hole, it sounds all squeaky and stuff. I have a Baroque Recorder. Can someone please help me to get the high notes to sound right?

You may need to experiment with how you cover that thumb. A firm and "directed" blow of air also helps with the higher notes. With a couple of the really high notes you can "stabilise" the note a little by adding a finger of the right hand - for example playing a high "D" on a descant/soprano works better with both the ring and little finger of the right hand. have you looked at the fingering charts at http://www.wft.woodwind.org/rec_alt_3.html?
