Been looking for the sheet music as well (Its not just two notes, the `du dun` is just the first part of the entire song. *sigh*)
Yes the shark in the movie was a fake mechanical shark name betsy. And it was inspired buy events with a tiger shark that swam up the mississipi. =p (The book was good, they had to leave a lot of it out because of the limitations with a mechanical shark which was at that time, uber special effects.)

First of all, the mechanical shark`s name was "Bruce", after spielberg`s lawyer. Second, you don`t get to use the word "uber" if you can`t spell MISSISSIPPI correctly. Third, I believe the two notes are D and E flat. I win.
