I am trying to improve my singing--specifically my pitch. Does anyone know of any videos or preferably something interactive, like software that can help?

thanks!

Let me ask you a question.

Do you like to use falsetto? I really like it.
And i hate when my teacher says: "You shouldnt use this
to reach high notes is only for style.. you sound like
a girl..". "This is ugly..."

(Falsetto is the false voice when you use sometimes.. like imitating
a girl or singing a song just to follow the vocalist... you know
that is not your voice)

But.. i `ve found a teacher that uses falsetto,
strenghterns it and then turns into full voice! This is
the main focus of his technique. Oh this is included in
his book Raise your voice.

I think.. if you like to use falsetto and would like to use
this to reach high notes, take a look at:

http://www.thevoiceconnection.com/

Also if you want to see his video of breaking a glass with his
own voice: (Without a amp!!)

http://www.thevoiceconnection.com/videosonjv.html

Who is him? His name is Jamie Vendera and his main focus is at
rock singers but his students sing other things, such opera and
he has other product called Ultimate breathing workout that
helped me a lot. You`ll see if he can break a glass with his
voice without an amp.. imagine what you can do with his
technique.

I really liked his idea. Some teachers use
falsetto to high notes with their students. Others hate..

Tell me what do you think about it. This is my recommendation. =)
IF you have the right technique, all will work. PERIOD.

In response to the original question, I don`t know of any "secrets" other than relentless practice. Sing along to everything and listen to yourself as you do it. If you can hear when it`s wrong, your ear is just fine and all you need is control, which will come with practice and the development of muscles.
