I am starting singing lessone next week with my friend who is a boy. Is it possible for us both to sing the same song for the exams or are some songs for boys and others for girls?

If your friend`s voice has already changed, you can still sing the same song, but he will be an alto, tenor, or bass. If his voice hasn`t changed yet, he will be an alto or soprano, and can still be in the same song.
