not to be rude but i don't think that any girl can sing that low below the bass clef i mean some guys can't even sing that low. i can sing from an octave below middle C to 3 octaves and one note above middle C but that's only because i have a whistle register. if you honestly can then i'm sorry

On a good day, I can sing a D# above the treble staff. I can sing down to A, first space of the bass clef.

One of these days, I am going to hit that high E...if it's the last thing I do!!

Ok. I posted a long time ago, where I can sing from the C in bass clef to the C or C# above treble clef. My best friend is a tenor vocal music major. We have gone into practice rooms before, on a tuned piano, and seen what my range is. The C# I got while warming up before choir one day, so that can be speculated. I do have that C, though. I have on occasion hit the B. It may not be normal singing, and I'm not sure why I can sing this low, but I know I can. I do know that the first time I noticed I could hit the B I was at a very untuned piano, and slightly inebriated. I have hit it while sober and at a more in-tune piano since then.

I'm basically a tenor, but I can comfortably sing from E2-D5. I can hit an E5, which is supposed to be the last note in the alto register, but it's strained.

Okay so an update. I have now been doing voice for a month and my vocal range to start is the F below Middle C and goes up to the F that sits in the top line of the treble staff, so two octaves. Also I find it easier to sing lower than higher is that normal???

Hi,
I'm new to this site and I am also a new singer as well. WOW!!! All of these ranges are INCREDIBLE!!! I think its normal to feel comfortable singing low because people have different preferences. My singing teacher told me that if you are someone who feels comfortable singing low, go for it because singing low expands your diaphram and also really develops your vocal chords.
By the way, my range is from the E-flat an octave and nine notes below middle C to the E-flat an octave and three notes above middle C. I am a male and this is my first time taking voice lessons in three years. Three years ago, I used to sing anywhere from a high female soprano part to a low male bass part!! On good days now, though, I can still sing those parts!! Is it strange that I can do this??

I thought it was unusual until I came on here and discovered that it's not quite as rare as I thought...

I'm a guy that can sing from F#2 to G#5. I had no idea until recently that I could sing that high. *shock*

YAY I'm a bass... i think I can sing an 'E' under the C two octaves below middle C... if you can figure that out. In an amazing male falsetto I can sing up to a high G maybe? or A depending... I don't usually sing that high though :P (high G = one and a half octaves above middle C)
