It's all good...I'm new too..so we can be n00bs together.
About your singing:
You have a nice tone quality...for sure a tenor, because you had a few problems with the lower parts in the song. You seemed to keep pitch rather well, I didn't hear too many issues with that, which is a rather common problem with beginning singers. I think what you don't like in your tone and what makes you "think" you're bad is your support. When you properly support the sound coming out of your voice, the breathy sound in the song will go away. It's like a tightning sensation in your lower abs, and it'll wear you out if you're supporting correctly!
Try some breathing exercises on your back where you keep your upper body from moving and you take "fat breaths" from your tummy. It'll make you look fat for like, half a minute. Inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seonds, and push all of the breath out between your teeth with a hissing sound. That's where you need to sing from, and the more often you do that, the more your muscles remember where to sing from.
And hey, don't put your voice down. Even the best singers have to work at singing. So keep your head up and keept trying.
Good luck!
