OK, I know it's no where near Halloween yet, but the singing part is only the beginning. After the music is all done, I have to start programming the robotics.

OK, maybe I should tell you what this is all about.

The following are videos of my Halloween Graveyard Quartet:

These were the songs that my "group" performed last Halloween.

I want to make new ones this year for the Trick or Treaters

I just got the new Moon-Rays CD, and I really like it. It does have several instrumentals on it, which don't work for my application, but are really good anyway.

None of the songs have the arrangement of voices that I need, however. I have uploaded a zip file with a group of songs including the Moon-Ray's Tune, "Swingin' At The Seance" that I would like to write routines for.

You can get the file here:

Here's what to remember if you are able to add your voice to any of these tracks for me.

My "Group" consists of 4 members and one dismembered head. The dismembered head doesn't sing much, he just makes comments and wise-cracks. The lead singer is female and the other three are male.

One is a bassman who usually sings a kind of doo-wop style walking bass throughout most songs. The other two harmonize with each other and the lead (female) vocal.

Keeping that in mind, listen to each song and see what part or parts are missing. Those are the tracks I need to add.

If the song is sung by a solo female artist, I will need 3 male singing tracks added that compliment the female voice, harmonizing with her whenever possible, singing Oohhhs and Ahhs in the background and of course, the bassman part.

If the song is a male lead, I will need a powerful female voice to make it a duet. The female voice will have to harmonize with the male lead. Then I will need whatever other male voices are missing.

One of them is a real challenge. It is the Zombie Jamboree. It is probably more than Three Male voices, buy that's OK. I need a strong female voice to add her own part over what all the guys are doing. This one needs some creativity to make it sound like it belongs. The singer might even create her own counter-melody to sing over the others. She wouldn't even really need to sing the words most of the time, just a kind of operetic melody that mixes in with the other voices.

If any of these songs are ones that any of you feel you could add your voices to, What I need is your voice, by itself, as a separate mp3. I will mix it together with the original to create the final version.

If you are interested, I will explain how to do the recording so that you can stay in tune and in time with the original song and still come out with a file that only contains your voice, and not the full mix.

Please don't add any effects like reverb or echo. I will do that in the final production.

I hope this isn't too confusing. If you would like to help, but don't know how, Please contact me and I will explain it all in detail.

I hope this interests some people, especially some female voices. I am having trouble finding any of those.

If not, I hope you at least enjoy the videos and the songs.

Thank you!!

Bob
