I think that bass clarinet should be added to the list of instruments for things like "Instruments Played" and selecting the instrumentation for uploading MP3's, and stuff like that. It is it's own instrument, not just a different clarinet! There are plenty of us who are bass clarinetists, not clarinetists, but we're never acknowledged as being our own instrument. Bass guitar is on there, tenor sax is on there- why not bass clarinet?

I agree! I play the bass clarinet, and nobody even knows what it is! "Oh! You play the clarinet?" NO! The bassclarinet! Yeah!

It's sort of annoying, because bass clarinet IS NOT the same as clarinet, THEY HAVE DIFFENCES.

All the bassclarinetist (Cool word ^^) I've meet are REALLY Nice people. The bassclarinet is such A GOOOOOOOD instrument. Lovely sounding. ^_______^
