My benge has never played in tune. I can bend notes in tune and a lot of the times I use alternate fingerings because its just so bad. I hate doing this though becuase often times the note is so out of tune when I bend it it loses its roundness and sounds horrible. I've tried cleaning my trumpet, I gave it a bath and snaked it out thoroughly, didn't do anything. I'm just ready to get a new trumpet. I want something that plays in tune in all registers and something that is a little less restricted in the upper register. Any suggestions? Also, any ideas on what I can do now in the meantime with my Benge? Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

a bach strad trumpet is very good...i can play every note in tune...with very little bending
a good cornet would probably be a bach strad cornet..although a besson 1000 works just fine...but the besson is a very short and small cornet
