For years, I had terrible problems with range, endurance & running out of air. None of the qualified horn teachers I had could help me, so I turned to a trumpet teacher for help. I found "The Balanced Embouchure", an embouchure method written for trumpet, adapted it to horn & finally was able to develop the range and endurance I desired and needed to be successful on the horn. I've promoted this program with my adapted exercises so successfully in the French horn world, that Jeff SMiley, the author asked me if I would sell the book to horn players and offer follow up help & support. I agreed. I have a list of over 60 horn players who use BE. Most of the BE users are amatuers like myself, but 12 are seasoned professionals (Andrew Joy, Paul Sharp, Dave Stoller, to name a few.) I don't have a website, but if any of you would like more information, feel free to contact me through private email. Wells123456@juno.com

Just further proof that what you learn and can say about one instrument can easily be applied to another. I can come up with many examples, but people still criticize me for studying multiple instruments. I haven't read the BE books, but needless to say, great work! These kinds of things are beyond appreciated. I'll be sure to recommend the book to any serious players I run across with these kinds of problems.
