Hi
Played for a while and since like a month ago i've had no feeling in my pinky. I don't know if it is because I hold the horn wrong or something. That's the only thing I can think of since it's worse when I just played. It would help very much if you could give some advice.
I'm from sweden so the english may not be perfect.

Pinky exercises! ...5 6 7 8 and up, and back, and out, and back, and up..

If your hands aren't all that big, I would recommend getting a strap to move some of the weight of the horn off of your pinky. It's a lot cheaper than having the pinky hook moved up to fit your hand better.

I don't understand what you mean by the description of the exercise. My hands are quite big.

I was joking about the exercise. If you're actually interested in doing something like that, though, just google "pinky exercises". The ones I found involve just grasping a stress ball to help strengthen your hands in general.

Regardless of your hand size, a hand strap would help relieve stress on your pinky. I only assumed that your hands may be small because the people I know who have hand straps to relieve pinky stress have small hands. However, I now realize that extrapolating from insufficient data is not a good thing.
