My sone is 13 and in need of a double horn. We have looked at a bunch had he likes the Yamaha YHR-567 and/or Bach 1102. However, I am not too crazy about buying him a +$3000 horn just quite yet. His single which we turned in on the lease, looked like a tornado hit it.

So we are trying to locate a used one. If anyone has one of these horns mentioned in good or better condition, or knows of one, please send me a PM.

There are lots of good used horns out there, but you have to spend some time. I have shopped at great local places like San Carlos' Hornucopia (no web presence sorry), online, and privately. My everyday horn is a 900 buck used Meister Karl Dressel that plays better than almost any other horn I've tried, and I have 2 pre-1982 Paxman custom horns. If you have anywhere within a couple hundred miles that has a good used selection, I just recommend doing that.
