Hello, I play the tuba almost everyday and the sousaphone occasionally. I have had some difficulty playing them lately due to lack of breath. I am getting winded playing on the sousaphone. Is anyone else having this problem?

i would recommend the "high on life exercise". we had to do it in band. it sounds stupid but it actually works.

you lay on the floor on your back, completely flat and breathe(through your mouth)in-time with a metronome. do this for about 10/15 minutes. if you feel really dizzy or high it worked. if you do this every day it will help.
