Our Philosophy
“Harps” is a virtual reality world, a place, if you will, to discover all the things you might want to know about the instrument. Besides providing information it is a gathering and meeting place where anyone in the world, without having to travel, can show up, visit and chat. It is intended to be a living site with information changing all the time to meet the needs of the community. Harps” is a work of love for the music and art of playing. We offer it for free as a public service – no strings attached.

How to Enter Harps
• Go to www.activewworlds.com
• Download and install the browser.
• On startup when asked about connection click “AutoConfigure.”
• Sign in as a tourist.
• Read the” How to move” web page after arriving at “AWGate”. Live assistance is there. Feel free to ask questions
• Open the tabs (upper left of the browser)
• Click the “Worlds” tab.
• Scroll to “Harps.”
• After arrival in “Harps” click “Teleport” in the command menu bar (top left of the browse) and select “Make this my Home”. The next visit you will start up in “Harps”.
• Enjoy your visit and return often because it changes!
