Ohhhh thank you so much I`ve been having problems playing low notes too until I took in some more reed... now I can play beauty and the beast etc. I just started in the band this year and Im pretty good I also love to practice it because I love when I learn a new song

i usaly play piano but my hign school`s piano nis broken so they gave me an alto....ive been playing it for a week and i guess im learning it better each passing day, if your a beginer try plaing "silent night" at www.8notes.com if you play it with a piano at the same time it rocks!

plaing sax is so much fun. it`s my favorite instrument!

my instructer told us to lose some pressure on the mouthpiece forlower notes. It gets alot easier when u practice at least 2 hours a week .

yes i had this problem when i frist started drop your jaw and open ur throat if u get wat i mean when u play lower notes it gets easier trust me ive been playin for 2 years now

I started about a month ago and tomorrow i have a test on reading the notes in both french and english!!! im really nervous. does anybody know wat D is called in french and C i cant remeber.

i started chirstmas 04 good instrument but keep forgetting in a busy life

I played the clarinet. I`m starting soon on alto sax. I was really good on clarinet. Do you think I`m going to do good?

i started today
i got my first wind instrumant
i played the guitar for a while and have moved up in the world
i love it i cant stop playing it
i took to it like a duck to water and in an hour i have learnt how to put it together how to play a note, then the c major scale the pink panther theme tune and a few arpegious. (sorry i dont know how to spell it)
i am really proud of myself
some people are saying to play 2 hours a week but i cant help but play it
i might be on about 14 hours a week
everything seems to be going well
i have got my girlfriend teaching me and she has been playing for 6 years and is amazing
i hope to be able to play tequilla by christmas

Just keep on practicing and a good tip to be able to sight reed more easierly is by practicing scales and rythms then you will become super good.
(I suggest that everybody should try out for ALLSTATE because it is the greatest challenge you can get and even you dont make you still learn a lot and when next year comes around you can make ALLSTATE)

PS: By the way if you really want to get good at what you do it over and over again until you get it right
