I`m a heavy rock listener. Some time ago I heard in the radio a jazz song with very special ingredients in the music. That piece was instrumental and with a strong "detectivesque" feeling, you know? ...suggestive thrumpets and a vibe very particular in the rhythm. A very cool song. I liked!

So my question is>>>there is a genre in jazz with that elements specialy?
