For you students here, is anyone`s band applying for the Ellington festival here? My band applies every year and we`ve managed to make it in the finalists 2 times in the past. I`ve looked at the past winners and New World, Roosevelt, Garfield, Mountlake Terrace, Agoura, Plano and some others seem to have a firm tradition on making it every year.
