benny goodman is the best jazz clarinet part...also bitches brew has a nice bass clarinet part...otherwise i dont care for the clarinet that much unless its played well...cheers

moon light serenade my high school jazz band played it we had a guy play the clarinet while the band backed him up his part is pretty high

Check out 'The Black Saint and The Sinner Lady' Charles Mingus. That Album just was like a template for all the querky jazzy things going on in my mind.
