I haven`t taken piano lessons in years. The sheet music I learned to play was different from what is presented in the book I`m trying to play currently, which is "Coldplay: A Rush of Blood to the Head" songbook.

After the first 3 lines of notes, all music thereafter is 3 line bars.

The top line is for the right hand (treble), the middle line is also treble notes (4-5 note chords), and the last line is bass (left hand) quarter notes. To the left of the middle and last lines are the brace. Which tells me I should be playing the 2nd and 3rd lines.

My question is which lines do I play? Is the top line for quitar? The songbook is arranged for vocal, guitar and piano.

I know this forum posting must sound ridiculous, but I do not want to give up on trying to play this song (and others)...I love Coldplay songs, and I think the arrangements they right are spectacular

If anyone could provide me with some assistance, I would truly appreciate it
