Starring Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester and Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester, the series follows the brothers as demons, they hunt and other characters in the paranormal.

Shortly after this, Kripke confirmed that it will not return as the show runner, but remained an executive producer as well as practical. Sera Gamble, which will replace the show runner, as Kripke has stated that the sixth season focuses on the relationship of the brothers' secret and they can find.
