Streetfest London 2012
Bank Holiday Sunday 6th May 2012
1pm-11pm
Hearn St Car Park, London, EC2A 3LS
Back by popular demand, StreetFest is here! On the strength of last May's outing, the organisers have teamed up once again to bring you another dose of this live exhibition meets block party extravaganza in the heart of London's East end. Bigger and better than before we are taking over a second warehouse to house a third music stage, a 32ft ramp and a street circuit. From acting as a platform for nurturing new talent to giving existing individuals and collectives a space to shine, StreetFest is an inspiring concept to those who live and breathe the creative arts.
As the first and only live art street festival in the UK, StreetFest's performers will be drawn from a collective of creative painters, architects, designers, illustrators, skaters and writers who will be expressing themselves during the day through live demos, screenings and shows.
This is just a quick reminder of the day and the activities taking place…
ART: Bringing you an eclectic mix as usual including the Toasters Bleach, Hicks, Philth, Mr Penfold, Dead Sea Mob, Malarky, Cretin Collective (SPZero76, Loch Ness & Squirl), Stika, Candy Lo, Riff and Jennie Webbar. STREETFEST EXCLUSIVE - the internationally renowned artist Jon Burgeman will be creating a piece live in New York which by satellite will then be projected on to a wall at Streetfest!
