I have a question. I want to play "popular" music on the piano/keyboard, but piano only. Songs like Norah Jones "Don`t know why" or Mandy Moore "Only Hope" or Sarah McLachlan, Vanessa Carlton. I have the sheetmusic, but it seems that the music notes are always at every word sung. If you listen to Only Hope, it`s not like that at all. I don`t know if chords are the answer, because I thought that was for in an arrangement only, and the chords above are not always when I hear the music play (I mean at live performances for instance). Can anyone help me? Sorry for the bad English.

Thanks, Laney

PS: Does anyone have the sheetmusic of Sarah McLachlan "Elsewhere" like the one Hailey sung in One Tree Hill?

some songs are written properly (most evanescence songs are). you just have to use the chords given, and try to figure out how it is-i do this and it sometimes turns out better...
