they both rock but i like Guns N Roses better

what i dont get is all u people dissing the one that isnt ur favorite when in reality they both are 2 of the greatest bands ever

i think acdc has more mainstream hits but gnr has some kickass tunes too

i mean both have so many timeless classics so its almost impossible to actually tell who is better although most people i think would prefer acdc over gnr

they both must be good cuz i can sit here today (having being born after both of them began playin in 74-acdc & 86-gnr) and name like 10 of their best songs without thinking so that says a lot.

ps. velvet revolver isnt nearly as good as gnr was without axel but they still rock pretty good

Yea, AC/DC have ben around for longer time, but GNR had a bigger impact on me, so I would sure say GNR.

Guns N` Roses, love them or hate them. They`re much more talented. AC/DC have Angus, and that`s it. Guns had Slash, Axl, Duff and Izzy - everyone is a master.
And those who say that Appetite is the only one great album of the band...think twice and listen twice, because you ain`t got any idea about GN`R. Draw your attention to songs like Right Next Door To Hell, November Rain, Don`t Cry, Don`t Damn Me, Civil War, You Could Be Mine, Knockin` On Heaven`s Door and a lot more. They were made after Appetite for Destruction and topped all hit parades in many countries. All this stuff was called "Use Your Illusion 1,2" Guys, wake up and listen to some more contemporary, but even though big music. Don`t get caught in an endless loop. Good luck!

Hard decision.. Both are fkn awsome.. but afetr angus young took over ACDC was ruined.. so im gonna have to say Guns N` Roses

GnR are way better than acdc simply because acdc suck complete ass. I really cant understand what their appeal is. Their lead singer sounds like an inbred Australian with throat cancer (which is pretty much what he is aside from the cancer), the guitaring is mediocre and the lyrics are stupid inane crap. GnR on the other hand are not the best of bands, but at least their stuff is alright to listen to and despite the fact that Slash is a massively overrated guitarist, can pull off solos smoothly unlike that douchebag Angus whatever the f*** his last name is.

AC/DC is my favorite rock band in the whole world. I know most do not consider them the best, but they sing feel good rock n` roll about hell, booze, and girls. Guns and Roses is one of my favorite bands and I think they would have been the next super group like the Rolling Stones, but they broke up, making AC/DC the better band.

Again, its very close and both groups are f*cking awesome with great hits, but AC/DC did come first and they did re-invent rock at that time. Slash is the better guitarist I think, but I like Angus more because he`s more entertaining. And Johnson still has rock n` roll pipes in him.

I once saw an interview where Axel said he was starstruck when he met AC/DC. Enough said, AC/DC rocks all.
