Green day is great from 1994 till 2005 they still rock. whats ur fav green day album?

Green Day has to artistic talent. Nothing but rhythm and basic melody structure. And its always been that way. Their songs are so simple and messy. They shan`t dare be compared with the greatness of ROLLING STONES, or THE RAMONES, and THE DOORS. Next to them, they are still a suck-a** garage band.

Everybody gets mad when somebody compares Green Day to some older and influential bands, but it`s just true. Green Day are one of the most influential bands of this generation. Rock pretty much dominated the scene in 2005, thanks to Green Day. Just when I thought rap is completely taking over, I got an amzing surprise. I know older people get mad when somebody calls Green Day the best band, cause they like The Ramones, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles or whoever. And I like them too. But why do those people have to deny how good Green Day`s music is, just because they weren`t around for 30 years! Please let my generation have their legendary band! And I`m so proud of Green Day!

girl, if you only consider Mtv, then you are right, green day is the most important "rock band", but Mtv isnt every thing. Its sad how all the real good bands out there are ignored by all the stupid people that only look for music in Mtv, where theres only crappy rap and hip hop and the rock bands that apear on Mtv are nothing compared to thousands of good Bands all over the world. Yup, there`s a bunch of great bands waiting to be discovered... MTV used to play real music... Well, if you ever seen the commercial that says "MTV-we don`t play music" or something like that, I say that is totally true. Cause they play the same songs over and over again by the same people who just sound like a copy of each other. Sad...

Im sorry to tell ya, but Green Day arn't too good. In fact thier !***!house, except a couple of their songs are pretty catchy.

Green Day arent punk theyre pop. The only real punks were the guys who were around at the end of the 70s like The Ramones and The Sex Pistols and even they mostly had crap music. Too be punk you have to be badass and Green Day are the furtherest thing from badass since Donny Osmond
