Ehh, i wouldnt really call them death rock at all, as far as sounds even though simply the look and stylings of music repel me the guitars are ok drums have soem skill voice is always on key, more or less the winey child sound of it that pushes me away more than that even though teh singer says their death rock they are very very emo. ya know so emo peopl might love em but not me thats my opinion

They rock. They truely write songs that are very meaningful unlike other bands who just write songs for the heck of it. And Helena was a song he wrote for his grandmother who past away, how could you be so rude...
I thinks Gerard`s vocals are great, but his screaming is...eh...his pitch is really good though in my opinion, if you have something really bad to say, DON`T need to say it, fans can get really angry. ANd i don`t care if you don`t care because if someone said something bad about YOUR fave band, i know you would be mad.

I only heard about MCR afew weeks ago in the rolling stone... So i bought their album, and they are THE COOLEST BAND ON EARTH!!! My sister absoulutley hates them because they are gothic. But i think thats it`s good to have more popular goth bands around. My fav songs are Cemetry Drive, Helena, and I`m not Ok (I promise) .

Goths don`t neciserialy hate their lives. Goths are just people who talk about death, mysticsm, and religon freely basicaly. It doesn`t mean that they have to acctualy FOLLOW death. The rest of their life (magick nocturnalness etc) is up to them and not part of the goth nature. It`s just a sterotype.
