Lazy J are a band from dudley, birmingham, who consist of Planty (vocals), dave (guitar), rich (bass), and phil. They are a fekin superb funk rock band who have two ep's, Extracts From The Jake, and their new release, The Innercity Funktion. These guys were discovered by the late kerrang! fm's Rob Dentith, and won best unsigned band of the year in 2005!

They regularly get radioplay on sunday evening on the unsigned show (funnily enough), favourites include 'Mad Note' and 'Sign Of What Was'. The combination of crazy guitar, zeppelin-like vocals and funky ass bass make this band have a superb unique sound that been described as 'well crafted funk that knocks your face off!'
