Hiya all!
Basically, I play a lot of guitar, piano as well as singing, and find that there's hardly a better way to relax than to learn a new song to play acoustic by myself. Now the thing is, that lately I've been looking at my repertoire of acoustic songs, and I don't know if it's my head, or some greater tendency in the music industry, but virtually all of them seem to be either depressive, whiny or ballad-like, or a combination of all three.
With the exception of Paolo Nuttini's New Shoe Song, and Dispatch's General, I don't really know any more UPBEAT songs. Even after scouring the web with this in mind, I still seem to be coming up with mainly more of the same style I already know all too well.
So Any ideas, anyone? Any help with song suggestions would be very much appreciated!

well, my friend plays acoustic, and he plays a combination of movie scores (LoTR, Godfather, ect.). Heres a list of some of the acoustic songs i've heard that are upbeat, or at least not depressing, or too classic.
we're going to be friends - White Stripes
Feel Good Inc. - Gorillaz (the part that Noodle plays)
walk away from the sun - Seether
anything by Tenacious D, and im pretty sure that there are acoustic versions of most of Bob Marley's stuff, which is generally upbeat.
