I still think The Rolling Stones are the greatest rock band of all time and I was very surprised to find out that my best friends favorite band, Phish, covered all of Exile on Main Street during their 2009 Halloween show at the Coachella concert grounds in Indio, CA. The entire 3 day festival was also filmed with 3D cameras and is now going to hit theaters at the end of the month.
My friend raved that the bands execution of the album was note perfect with many classics jammed out like "Torn and Frayed," "Loving Cup," "Tumbling Dice," and many others. The band was also joined by a large horn section for the 2+ hour set and also two back up singers, including Sharon Jones from the Dap Kings.
