people who listen to emo, essentially, are always screaming anyways, for their own personal angsty reasons. Its mandatory for emo music, and will be like that forever. I hate it when people ripp on music they don`t even lisen to, especially people who have no purpose in the emo genre.

i hate all of these screamo/emo/punk/post punk/hardcare/black metal/heavy metal or what ever other retarded genre is out there. everybody thinks there a brilliant artist nowadays, thinking they`re so creative and unique, singing about their "black hearts" and "final breathes". SHUT THE HELL UP! NOBODY CARES! learn to play and sing and write some meaningful lyrics and maybe then ill give a damn

The fact that America can get away with such hidden talents is a matter of its own, but one day "emo`s" will revolt. Emo wasn`t even a noun, it was an adjective....emotional punk. People just decided to be stupid and act like they knew what it meant and used it to their own terms. I don`t listen/ nor beat on music i don`t listen to unless i am asked. I love it, though, how people can comment on such subjects like screamo and would have never even listen to `true` screamo, they just go along with what everyone else said, cause thats how america has evolved.

Music is certainly not the same as it used to be. Emo and Screamo bands were all influenced the wrong way and don`t know any better. Emo and Screamo is definetly going to be taking over the popular culture in years to come and it is a huge shame. What happend to the stuff our parents listened to? GOOD/TALENTED Artists like Bob Dylan, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Chuck Berr, The Band, CCR, Eric Clapton. Some ppl I know havn`t even heard of some of those artists.....that`s pretty sad if u haven`t heard of most of those people.
