pull your head out of your ass and think a minute. Whoever puts this new pop punk rock crap should be punched. It`s not good music. It`s uncreative and it all sounds the same. There is no variety. So whoever puts any sum41 or any of that on this forums then think about it again. I know this is only my opinion but there aren`t any good rock bands out there now.

ok here`s the list.

(check it out)
|
10. Alice in Chains - Down in a Hole
could have been a few of the chains songs, but ya gotta give em credit for the grunge revolution
9. Cake - Going the Distance
i tend to drive faster when listening to this song, cake is fun, gotta love it.
8. Radiohead - Parinoid Android
mind boggling song no matter how many times you hear it, smooth transition from soft to hard to soft, and the video is a complete mindfu*k
7. Knocking on Heaven`s Door
truthfully, G n`R didn`t do this song proper justice, it` an awesome story, not suitable for butchering by the sloppy vocal tones of axel rose.
6. All Along The Watch Tower
Hendrix did it best, but Dave Matthew`s did it no harm. great song.
5. Nine Inch Nails - Hurt
Masterpiece by any standard. if you dislike trent reznor, then listen to the jonny cash version. it put a whole new spin on NIN for me.
4. Coal Chamber - Loco
Welcome to the new age of hard rock, all you balding, middle aged, ACDC loving freaks. (too much hair spray in the 70s-80s)
3. Nirvana - Dumb
all you people and your smells like teen spirit, were you listening to the same nirvana i was? or did you just get your fill of nirvana on mtv? dumb is simply the best slower song nirvana ever did, it makes you think, if it hurts, stop.
2. Pearl Jam - Black
#1 breakup song of all time. musically and lyricly moving. i love this song.
1. Queen - Bohemian Rapsody
yup too fun, too loud, too much like what rock and roll should be. and how many other bands had their own tv show? i mean sure everyone else knows of it as Highlander, but to a select few of us, it`s known as "The Queen Show" starring Duncan McCloud.

If you think you know a rock song that is one of the best, the Chris Walker Band probably covers it. They`re a young band (in their early 20`s) and they cover such a wide frame of music genres from the basic blues rock, classic rock, to a reggae rock. Check them out at their website: www.geocities.com/thechriswalkerband

I LOVE THE SCORPIANS I am so glad to see someone put them on here. Plus everyone, check out The Eagles. They are one of the best bands ever and I don`t see any of there songs on here but Hotel Calforina (which is great, but they have tons of great songs). Plus RUNNING ON EMPTY by Jackson Browne should be on here just adding it.
