God Gave Rock n Roll To You - Kiss - for the intro, the chord changes and the sentiment

Under The Bridge - Red Hot Chili Peppers - yeah I know it`s a kind of a ballad but the guitar in the chorus haunts me

Sweet Child o`Mine - Guns n`Roses - for the intro, need I say more?

Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana - the whole thing just rocks

Stumble And Fall - Razorlight - I love the whole album but this is the highlight to me

Whisky In The Jar - Thin Lizzy - I just love the riff in this song

Creep - Radiohead - the guitar and the lyrics are equally amazing

I Believe In A Thing Called Love - The Darkness - yeah I know, but I love the lead solo, it`s pretty great

Summer of 69 - Bryan Adams - the guitar sounds really great in this - simple but a classic to me

Ok this is a pretty hard one so there is a lot of song to leave out.

Starting with the basics:

1. Stairway to Heaven LED ZEPPLIN- anyone how doesn`t have this first is a moron, ask any musician what song is the most breakthrough song you`ll only get one answer.

2. Strawberry Fields Forever BEATLES- if i had one song that i could listen to everyday it would be this song. Second by the Beatles is of course Fixin` a Hole.

Now we get a little controversial:

3. Sultans of Swing DIRE STRAITS- Not everyone likes it but its what all musicians go through and just basically bad ass.

4. Baba O`Riley THE WHO- Most dumbass call this song teenage wasteland, get a clue morons, its Baba O`Riley. Very close to making #4. Also by the Who: Won`t Get Fooled Again.

5. Sweet Child O` Mine GUNS `N ROSES- "Now and then when i see your face it takes me away to that special place, and if I stare too long it makes me want to break down and cry"

6. Time PINK FLOYD- Good while high, better sober. Try to recreate Pink Floyd, world try!

7. Listen to the Music DOOBIE BROTHERS- Everyone knows this song and loves it. Plus Doobie Bros. are the most overlooked band in history, save Bruce Springstein.

8. Renegade STYX- Also great song by Styx is Come Sail Away. Again has everything a great song needs, plus a story line.

9. Magic Man HEART- This song rocks period. Let go of your macho man image and listen to good music.

10. Like a Rolling Stone BOB DYLAN- Only reason this song is MUCH higher is cuz Bob Dylan was never much of a singer, but great musician.


Songs that would`ve made the list if i was in a different mood: Desperado (Eagles), Fame (David Bowie), Back in Black (AC/DC), Wonderwall (Oasis), Bad Company (Bad Company) the list goes on.

Dude like 2 or 3 people only included highway to hell, the song is awesome well hers my list.

2.Back In Black-Acdc-Brian replaced bon well.
3.Back In black-Def leopard and rainbow- best cover ever almost as good as origninal.
4.Thunderstruck-acdc- its acdc
5.For those about to rock- another acdc master piece
6. Dirty deeds done dirt cheap-Acdc-acdc rocks
7.Hells bells-acdc- good guitar solos!
