chopin was an incomparable pianist, the only one to beat him was Liszt with his symphonic poems, and his hungarian rhapsodys. chopin is to art and beauty, as liszt is to performace and madness. chopin and liszt taught each other, and this was common, particularly in the late french impressionist era, when faure taught debussy and satie.

Yes, I seem to be obsessed with his Scherzo No.2. I can`t play it since I`m only grade 6 so that really is a bummer.

I LOVE Chopin so much! He wrote many masterpieces for piano. I think he`s a genius.

His nocturnes put me to sleep, but I like his ballades a lot, especially the first and third ones.

My grandma ADORES Chopin! 95% of her records are Chopin. I personaly like the waltzes, specially one of them in D flat. It`s really quick and gracious.
