I`m currently writing a march for concert band/wind orchestra, and have almost reached the end of the trio, only to discover that I have absolutely no idea how to end it.

Any ideas?

I had ths problem when i wrote a piece for a woodwind ensemble. It took me 5 weeks to think of an end for it so don`t worry it will come to you

listen to some marches in the same style as yours that may give you a few ideas

Finally managed to finish the march in question. I called it "The Seafarers` March". Here is a link to a midi file:
