I`ve been looking on Ebay, but I think I`d prefer a new one! I`m trying to decide between a Paxman 23 and an Alexander. I`ve heard Alexanders have a unique sound. What do think?? They both cost around the same sort of amount.

Have you tried searching for [New "Double" French Horns] on Ebay? There are new ones there. And by the looks of them, even if you were to get an old one there. For a price that low, it could be a good horn even if you use it just for practice.

Does anybody know where i can go to buy a good Double French horn and the price range. I would prefere to know of one in Texas but i could also use to internet

hi, im 13 and I`ve been playing the horn for about 4 years but my horn teacher was once in the scottish national orchestra or something like that.the horn is difficult to play but thats what I like about it.

In 1993 I wrote my main work. A Requiem for Horn and large orcheatstra (45 minutes!!)- i t has been performed twice- Once in Stavanger Norway and second in in Sankt Petersburg( Russia) with a great sucsess. But after that??
If you write a Requiem for Horn and large Orchestra- Who really want to play it now in the 2004??
